Who needs a scarf? HAUTE DADS said it first, Piggy backs are the new scarves! We love this proud Papa, adding a pop of color with his shades to a simple and classic look. However, the best accessory hands down is his cutie pie happy cub sitting casually on top.

Campion Platt and his wife, Tatiana Platt both "believe boys should be boys and girls should be girls. Campion is an amazing dad, way more hands on than most. He is patient, doting and caring (he is also a Buddhist). From the time the kids were born, they have all swam in the ocean - they literally started swimming at 1 month old and Campion taught them all. They are now all amazing swimmers, even their camp counselors are blown away.
Campion's current focus is on healthy living. He is gluten free and even built his family a scrumptious organic vegetable garden this summer! Campion is a great cook and throws together amazing healthy meals from their family's garden. Campion can be recently seen in the current July issue of Beach magazine.

Happy Fathers Day !
HAPPY FATHERS DAY! Special Guest Contributor, Michael Rabatin, producer of ADHome Design Show
"The most rewarding part of working in Men's Design at Ralph Lauren was a lasting appreciation for dressing and how to do so. One evening my son, Hudson, watched me transform from my work clothes--often a suit or blazer or a motorcycle jacket--into my Tux--for a formal party. To him it was like watching superman put on his cape. It opened a whole new world and we launched into a three month sojourn into the basics of wardobing. He needed to know everything and could soon recognize a shawl or club collar, he appreciated working button holes, and knew why the pleats of a cummerbund are worn facing up. He started to amass a smart collection of pocket squares, suits and blazers....and insisted on real ties since after 3 tries he mastered the technique. His new wardrobe was worn to school and out for dinner whatever the restaurant is. Harper, my oldest son, has always picked up on my weekend look and gravitates to great pants, t-shirts and fine motorcycle jackets. He has my hair and was born with a sense of ease carrying himself and now he is very comfortable wearing embroidered jeans and a soccer jersey topped off with a hoodie or one of his many motorcycle jackets. "Just like you--and Superman"--they say! Thankfully, we have dressing down and all feel good having a sense of style.

"Im inspired by old men who take pride in what they're wearing but at the same time they really don't care much about their outfit. Their style is effortless. I also could live like a mountain man and wear boots, a flannel with a long tee or tank layered under and raw jeans for weeks and not think twice about my look."

Double Mohawk
"For me all black always works. When dressing up I always go with a clean white shirt with a dark tie, simple and classic. The longshirt is my current staple, I have a few in black and one white one, I like wearing them with a suit too. My wife has a background in design, so we go pick out fabric at Mood and she makes them for me. Winston has a nice "little" wardrobe. We really like Nununu baby clothes, they have a great fit. It's not easy to find good "black" baby clothes. We usually have luck at American Apparel Kids, we also like Zara Kids and Baby Gap. I have already started Winston's sneaker collection, ranging from Ralph Lauren Baby to Baby Converse. Winston is about six months old, and I am really enjoying this stage in his life."
SCOTT BRASHER A custom made longshirt made by his wife, Converse sneakers, Oliver Peoples sunglasses // WINSTON Baby GAP top, Zara kids drop crotch pants

Going Nautical
"Living in southern CA I feel pretty lucky to live in such a nice climate and have a life/career (Developer) that allows me to dress the way that I want to dress. I spend quite a bit of my time out on the job site so my day-to-day wardrobe is pretty casual. On a typical day I'd likely be wearing an untucked button-up collared shirt with rolled sleeves, blue jeans, and one of my many pairs of desert boots. If I'm more dressed up than that, you've caught me on the day of an important meeting. Some of my favorite brands include Alexander Wang, JCrew, Theory, and Diesel. As far as Levi's wardrobe is concerned, I need to give the lion's share of the credit to my wife Ali. She's someone who really knows how to put together an outfit and like's to dress Levi in very simplistic, clean cut clothing. At his age, he looks pretty darn cute in whatever you put him in so it allows you to play with some looks that you may not be able to pull off yourself."

Spring is in the air
"I used to only wear vintage clothes because I thought contemporary designers didn't pay enough attention to the comforts, style and swagger of the modern man. Certainly not like they do for the ladies. Designers of yesteryears had more discerning senses of detail, form and choices of fabrics. However, in recent years, designers have stepped their game up considerably, and I've been finding myself pleasantly surprised at what is offered for the urban man. I can combine vintage and modern looks, and so long as I can drop kick a buster for looking at my daughter funny, and still feel classy drinking an espresso in what I'm wearing, it's all gravy...And Chloé, well she loves patterns and anything that moves when she spins around." Chloé can be seen as a model for Mara Hoffman's new kid's apparel.
Daud Sturdivant Vintage western shirt, Ralph Lauren espadrilles, Juma pants, SEE shades // Chloé head to toe American Apparel.
Daud's music alias is under the name Yungtouch, & his stylings can be described as Tropical House or Trap Tropics, and Lo-fi Rapso. He has always been very submersed in percussion, currently drawing influences from Soca, Jùjú and Soweto styles. A new project he recently co-created is a production duo with a friend, Josh Hoisington, named "Tournament". Tournament produces for artists and vocalists as well as commercial work for licensing. Daud's favorite "go -to's" for listening pleasure, currently are, Cashmere Cat, Run the Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike), Future Islands, Onra, Dyro and Hudson Mohawke.
Simple as ABC
Effortlessly simple look that is still clean & chic. With a pop of red, the daughter is giving us Eloise at the Plaza with her adorable red ballet flats & peacoat.
If A dad wears Vans, his kid wears Converse
"My style is more simple, casual, and solid colors. The solid colors are good for color blocking. Not interested in big name brands. For my daughter we dress her in simple patterns, solid & bright colors, with metallic or fun shoes."

Casual Cool
" I grew up in Paris capital of fashion and the son of a supermodel, so fashion was a prerequisite since birth. My style is casual & comfortable, but aware of what's going on in fashion. Even if takes me less than 6 minutes to get dressed, I take more time choosing what I buy so I know that no matter what I wear it will be something both comfortable and in style. "
Arthur Boujenah Hermes bomber jacket, Tom Ford scarf, Nike lunar track sneakers (Nikes are classics & will never go out of style), Rayban Caravans sunglasses // Sofia head to toe Dior baby and Bonpoint.
Sporty Princess
"When I think about how to dress Hannah, I normally go for sporty princess. The princess part looks pretty on her, and the sporty part is practical and allows her to be active. So in the photo shoot, she is wearing a pink tutu (crazy 8 brand), a pink sweater (carters), skinny jeans (carters), and sneakers (circo brand)."

"I wear white in the studio as it is least distracting to my eye while working...but in general we are about colours and comfort, about layering favorite items, and patching them when they wear out. There are a lot of hand-me-downs and hand-me-overs. My wife Gretchen will tell you not to let your nice things just sit in the closet waiting for the right time to wear them... Wear it now, until it wears out."
Reed is an artist in Brooklyn www.reedanderson.info. This past Fall Reed had an exhibition "OUR NEW LIFESTYLE", at Galeria Leyendecker, in Tenerife Canary Islands. The works are an offshoot of PapaObject www.papaobject.com. Reed sent us a catalogue and the work is incredible. This Spring, Reed will have a solo exhibition at Pierogi Gallery, opening March 21st www.pierogi2000.com. Go see his magical & dynamic work.
